David P. Eron left his post with the Region 20 U.S. Trustee and opened his private law practice last week. Eron will represent individuals and businesses in bankruptcy and business transactions.
He has three years experience as trial attorney with the U.S. Trustee, litigating substantial abuse and fraud issues and other matters in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in Kansas. He has been chapter 11 debtor’s counsel for businesses with $10-30 million in annual revenues, was chapter 11 creditor’s counsel for a creditor with a $4 million secured claim, was preference defense counsel for three large companies in one of the largest chapter 11 dairy cases in California history, and was general counsel for chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in grape and wine company liquidations collectively valued at $100 million.
Eron’s law practice interests include bankruptcy, business and asset sales, workouts, loans, security instruments, collections, foreclosures, mergers and acquisitions, business litigation, and federal appeals.
